Update to Connectify Hotspot 2019: Now Faster and More Streamlined
Everybody has new year’s resolutions, usually around being happier and better overall. As always in the past 9 years, Connectify Hotspot is also becoming better each time. With the 2019 version launch, we bring a lot of enhancements, such as:
- Reduced installer file size – we have optimized Connectify so that you’ll be able to install and update it faster.
- Better support for static IP addresses – clients that do not obtain IP addresses via DHCP are now supported in Wi-Fi Direct mode.
- New and updated emojis from our friends at EmojiOne to use for Wi-Fi hotspot names, upon popular demand. In total there are 157 new emoji including Hot Face, Cold Face, Partying Face, Pleading Face, Woozy Face, and Face with Hearts. You can read more about all the additions at EmojiOne, or just explore in Connectify Hotspot’s emoji keyboard (located next to the Hotspot Name).
- The old “Dispatch” product has reached the end of life. By removing this code, we have freed up significant amounts of memory and disk space for you! Those still using Dispatch are encouraged to check out Speedify or continue to use Connectify 2018.

Get Connectify Hotspot running on your Windows PC

Install and open Connectify Hotspot
Run the installer and let the install finish. Connectify Hotspot opens on its own.

Pick what you are sharing
Choose the connection your Windows PC is already using, then set a hotspot name and password.

Start Hotspot
Your phone, tablet or console now sees the network name you just typed. Connect to that network like any other Wi-Fi.

Is Connectify Hotspot Free to Use? How Much Does It Cost?
As with its predecessors, Connectify Hotspot 2019 can be used for free if you only need to share a Wi-Fi Internet connection via Wi-Fi. For other advanced features, you can purchase a Connectify Hotspot PRO or MAX license via the online store.
If you’re already a Connectify Hotspot user (Thank You!) and you’ve got a Lifetime license of Connectify, be sure to download the latest version – always available on the Download page of the connectify.me website. If you have a 2018 or earlier license of Connectify, you can purchase a 2019 or a lifetime license from the online store!
