Your Hotspot for Spring Travel

With springtime fast-approaching, you’re probably already planning your warm-weather getaways. That usually means a fair bit of time spent on airplanes, trains, and in hotels. So, we thought now would be as good a time as any to remind you just how much a lifesaver Connectify Hotspot can be while traveling. The funniest thing happened to me while I was on an airplane last week. Actually, it’s funny now that I think back on it, but at the time, not so much. I was catching a flight via United Airlines and while on my flight I wanted to catch up on some work. When’s a better time to work than when you have some downtime! I opened my laptop and tried to connect to the in-flight Wi-Fi only to see a splash page and pricing options. To my amazement United was charging a whopping $8.99 for Internet service per device! Not only did I have my laptop, but I had my phone and tablet that I wanted to use as well. That meant I would have ended up paying $26.97 to get all of my devices connected and there was no way I was going to spend thirty bucks for Internet on a three-hour flight!
Luckily for me, I already have Connectify Hotspot installed on my laptop, so I was able to easily share my laptop’s connection with my other devices at no extra charge. Once again, Connectify Hotspot saves the day!
