Install in three steps

    Open the installer

    Open the Connectify Hotspot installer from your browser's downloads, or from your Downloads folder.

  2. 2

    Allow it to make changes

    Choose Yes when Windows asks whether the app can make changes to your PC. Installing needs administrator access.

  3. 3

    Agree and install

    Select I Agree on the license page. When it finishes, Connectify Hotspot opens with a short tour of the window. If Windows asks you to restart, do that first.

Start your first hotspot

It takes about a minute.

  1. Choose Wi-Fi hotspot as the kind of hotspot to create.
  2. Pick the internet to share, like the Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection your PC is using.
  3. Press Start. The first time, a one-time setup window opens. Finish it, then press Start again.
  4. Connect your devices by scanning the QR code with a phone camera, or by entering the network name and password.
