We know that when you’re sharing WiFi with friends, family, or colleagues you might want to have a bit of extra control over your connections. That’s why the paid versions of Connectify Hotspot include one-click firewall controls that let you control whether connected devices can access the Internet and/or your Local Area Network (LAN)
If you want to control firewall permissions on a per-client basis, just head over to the ‘Clients’ tab and right-click on the device you want to change firewall settings for.
From the dropdown menu, just select ‘Disable Internet Access’ or ‘Disable Local Access’ depending on what traffic you would like to prevent the client device from accessing. Using Firewall controls, you can use Connectify Hotspot for the safest WiFi sharing experience available.
