Connectify 9.2.2 is here. In addition to all of the good stuff that was in 9.2, it also adds better support for VPNs and some bug fixes. There are also some other important bug fixes, so we strongly recommend that all users update.
Here’s what’s new in Connectify 9.2.2:
- Correctly read the MTU of connections with dynamic MTU values (like Speedify!
- Fix compatibility with some VPN products – The ability of client devices to access the Hotspot host computer by using any of the host’s IPs has been turned off by default. It may be re-enabled by selecting Settings – Advanced – Access Host via Any IP. This fixes compatibility with Switchboard Personal Server.
- Further stability and reporting improvements
If you have an older version of Connectify Hotspot already installed, it is possible that the upgrade may make you reboot twice. Sorry about that, but trust us… this is worth it.
