Microsoft launched in mid October 2017 the Fall Creators Update for Windows 10 users, which brings many new and exciting updates and functionalities. However, there are many reports that Wi-Fi Direct, the Windows Mobile Hotspot, and Connectify Hotspot have all stopped working after installing the Fall Creators Update.
Does the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update Affect Connectify Hotspot Functionality?
We've gotten reports from some of our users running Windows 10 computers that the Fall Creators Update makes our Connectify Hotspot app not function correctly for some users.
This is because we use a series of Microsoft programming APIs for Connectify Hotspot. And since their own Windows Mobile Hotspot doesn't work (which uses some of the same resources), then unfortunately Connectify Hotspot is affected as well.

If you need a mobile hotspot functionality on your Windows 10 computer, then there's only one thing that can help you at this time: download the latest beta of Connectify Hotspot 2018 here!
